This vase or vessel was hand-made from a single block of Black Cherry wood. It has a deep, rich wood grain and color. The satin smooth finish has been protected with Lacquer. One side of the vessel, shown in the photo, has a very dark and heavily grained pattern with a rough texture which gives this piece a truly unique and natural character. The artist's mark is stamped on the bottom.
